I was extremely lucky to be able to buy this painted and based 10mm CGW Imperial Roman Army from a very good friend and fellow member of the Grimsby Wargames Society. Read his Battle report of their first outing Hail Caeser in 10mm.
10mm CGW Imperial Roman Army

The army is made up of Trajanic legionaries from Magister Militum and boosted them with some Old Glory auxiliaries. The end result is a full legion of ten cohorts, with six supporting auxiliary cohorts and four mounted auxiliary units plus sundry light troops.
Trajanic legionaries, the backbone of Emperor Trajan’s military campaigns (98–117 AD), highly disciplined Roman soldiers. They played a crucial role in expanding the empire, notably during the Dacian Wars. Equipped with advanced weaponry like the gladius and pilum, they wore segmented armor (lorica segmentata) for protection. These legionaries were not just warriors but also engineers, constructing roads, forts, and siege equipment. Their training emphasized discipline, formation tactics, and adaptability. Trajan’s Column in Rome immortalizes their achievements, depicting their organization, equipment, and pivotal role in securing Roman dominance during one of the empire’s most prosperous eras.
