This is my 10mm AZW Zulu Army, all of the figures are from the following Pendraken Miniature’s and Old Glory Miniatures other manufacturers which I intend using are Magister Militum and Steve Barber. I intend using Black Powder rules.
For the Zulu warriors, Rorke’s Drift was a matter of honor and tactical importance. With their traditional weapons—the iconic iklwa spear and shields of cowhide—they advanced in disciplined formations, showcasing the martial prowess that defined the Zulu kingdom. They were courageous and unyielding, attacking the fortified mission station with determination and unity. Despite their overwhelming numbers and repeated efforts, the resistance they encountered was formidable. Though the outcome was not in their favor, the Zulu fighters demonstrated extraordinary bravery, and their actions remain a testament to their skill and dedication to their cause.
