Adler Miniatures

Adler Miniatures produces both Marian/Caesarean Romans and Gauls. I bought sample bags of both Romans and Gauls but found the cast quality disappointing. The swords on the Gallic figures feel extremely fragile. They also offer transfers for both Romans and Gauls. I purchased one set of Gallic Shield transfers, which I found expensive but very nice.

Irregular Miniatures

Irregular Miniatures offers Gauls, but I find their figures require extensive flash removal. At 20p per figure, they cost more than other manufacturers. On the positive side, Irregular Miniatures provides extremely nice animals, carts, and other accessories that align perfectly with Caesar’s Gallic War.

Old Glory Miniatures

Old Glory Miniatures UK, produce their miniature’s in strips of five and I personally just can’t get along with that. However their figures look very nice. On the plus side they do produce several resin models which are more than suitable for the period.
